PA1X200 200W POWER AMPLIFIER KIT

Description

The PA1X200 amplifier kit provides the builder with instructions covering how to build the kit as well as the underlying theories behind it. Some of the topics covered include boost and invert DC/DC converter theory as well as the DC/AC converter theory. The finished unit does not include a case (the builder needs to supply it). This kit is an updated version of the kit featured in the April 1997 issue of Electronics Now.

Kit includes assembly instructions, PCB, and all parts that are installed on the PCB. Kit complexity is 175 parts (approx). PTH technology except for 3 coils. Coils are large so soldering is not hard. Debugging can be difficult due to feedback loops in the design. Can be built without an oscilliscope but it is helpful.
